26BS55 is a UN rated 550 gallon stainless steel IBC tank. This stainless steel liquid handling tank features a one-piece 1/2 sloped bottom that allows for 99.5% drainage, a pressure relieving device, 10 gauge stainless steel IBC construction with 2B finish, a 2" top bung opening and a 2" stainless steel ball valve with offset handle. Heavy-duty lifting lugs with a large radius corner also feature as stacking positioners. This IBC container can stack up to four high. The 304 stainless steel construction is durable and corrosion resistant for an extended service life with little need for maintenance.

Stainless steel IBC tanks are reusable containers designed for the storage and transport of bulk liquids. They are applicable across industries particularly for chemicals and other hazardous liquids. This 304 stainless steel IBC container is rated UN31A/Y for the transportation and storage of hazardous chemicals and meets Intermediate Bulk Container requirements per Title CF49 of the Hazardous Material Guide as well as NFPA "Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code" NFPA 30 section 9.4.1 (1).

Material:

Stainless steel 304 (SS304) has excellent corrosion resistance and weldability. SS304 has an oxidation resistance of 1600°F for intermittent service and 1690°F for continuous service. Stainless steel 304 products, such as pans and cooking tools are common household products that people use on a daily basis.

Are these totes are suitable for pressure rating of – 20mbarg to 50 mbarg?

When spray washing the inside of the tank with solvents there is a chance of a deflagration? Can the IBC withstand a deflagration if the top 22.5" diameter opening is available for venting? Do you have any UL of NFPA or other authority acceptance for solvent spray washing these IBC's?
Thank you for your inquiry. There is a possibility of deflagration when spray washing this tote with solvents. However, the tank can likely withstand that. We do not know of any authority that addresses solvent washing of the IBCs.
