Made from 304 stainless steel, our UN Rated 8 gallon tight head stainless steel drums (closed head) are an ideal solution for products requiring drum purity and compatibility of materials, depending on their composition. Due to unique properties, these drums can outperform carbon steel drums in terms of corrosion resistance, tensile strength and reusability. These tight head stainless steel drums feature 2" & 3/4" Tri-Sure stainless steel fittings.

Material:

Stainless steel 304 (SS304) has excellent corrosion resistance and weldability. SS304 has an oxidation resistance of 1600°F for intermittent service and 1690°F for continuous service. Stainless steel 304 products, such as pans and cooking tools are common household products that people use on a daily basis.

What is a stainless steel drum?

Drums are offered with either a bolt-ring or lever lock closure. Drums made of 316 stainless-steel are also available.
What is 304 Stainless Steel?
Comprised of iron, nickel, chromium and other metals, 304 Stainless Steel offers excellent corrosion resistance and weldability. Easy to maintain, hygienic and highly durable, this alloy offers an oxidation resistance of 1600°F (871°C) for intermittent service and 1690°F (921°C) for continuous service. We have a collection of stainless steel 304 drums, power drill mixers and filter vessels.
