PRINTEX® 3 (beads) is a high structure, regular color furnace carbon black used for priting inks or plastics. It is highly suitable for newspaper inks, plastics, sealants and adhesives. Amorphous carbon. Used for flexo and gravure inks and coldset. Carbon black pigment. Apart from tinting and coloring, it imparts other desired performance properties such as UV protection, conductivity and special effects (thermal insulation or rheology control, respectively, when using as a reducing agent or an antioxidant). Used in fiber / filaments, PE & PVC pipes and high-voltage cables. It makes the adhesive particularly stable and facilitate its application. Used in the automotive industry in high-tech polyurethane windshield adhesives. Can be used in applications wherever adhesives or sealants are required to be especially UV stable or where jet-black coloring of systems is required.
