CHISORB® 5571 is a liquid UV absorber of the hydroxyphenyl-benzotriazole class. It imparts good light stability to a variety of polymers during its use. CHISORB® 5571 features high compatibility in various substrates. It offers low volatility even at high temperatures. It also exhibits high absorption and protection efficiency without imparting any yellowness to the protected substrate. CHISORB® 5571 can be applied in thermoplastic PUR, coating and integral foams, rigid and plasticized PVC, PVB, PMMA, PVDC, EVOH, EVA, hot cured unsaturated polyesters and spin finishes for PA, PET, PUR, and PP fibers. The clear viscous yellow liquid product is also suitable for latices, waxes, adhesives, styrene homo- and co-polymers, elastomers and polyolefins.
