This is a small "gravity" system which includes a 55gal drum assembly with filter bag holder, band type drum heater (which in the gravity system is used to accelerate the time required to separate the water). This can be considered optional if water is not thought to be a problem or if enough time is allowed for it to occur without heat.  Can be especially important in cold weather. Starter system can be easily upgraded to full pump/filter system at a later date, if desired. Unit is shipped broken down, with instructions for quick, 30 minute, field assembly.

In addition to the gravity fed system, we also offer a full pump/pressure filter system, which allows using tighter filter bags, and has the benefit of faster processing time. Pretreatment is still done via the gravity mode, then change bags, put on the filter lid and re-circulate in the drum with the included pump. When done, the same pump is used to transfer the oil through the included hose and fill nozzle.
