405 Finish

What types of wines are typically packaged in this Wine jug?
Inexpensive red, white and rosé table wines are sometimes bottled in wine jugs (also called “Jug” wine). Glass jugs are used for bulk packaging wines and are sometimes used as an aging vessel for smaller wine batches.
Do you sell caps and other accessories for this Wine Jug?
Yes, we offer metal caps and more wine making supplies to help you create, develop and bottle your signature wine. Compatible caps that will fit a specific container are listed under the Related Products section of the product page. You can also search our website by the container’s neck finish. For example, 38mm 38-405 metal caps are designed to fit 38mm 38-405 neck finish containers like this one. However, the best way to check compatibility is to order a sample of the cap to match to your container. You can find out more about this matching process in our Guide to Neck Finishes.
What makes this bottle a wine “jug”?
