The 57W007 is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and has a 7 gallon capacity. This white plastic pail has a 90mil wall and metal handle (with plastic grip). Lid options include white tear strip lid (57W07L) and white tear strip lid with Rieke Spout (56W65L). Other styles, sizes and colors available upon request.

Specifications
The 57W007 is a large 7 gallon open head white plastic pail tough enough to store hardware supplies and secure enough to protect contents. Large integrated handles provide comfort in handling. Reinforcing ribs maintain container shape. This durable round commercial grade container can be used to safely store or ship products including food, dairy and chemicals. Container and cover can be hot filled up to 190°F, steam sterilized and frozen. Features a tapered design which allows empty buckets to nest for storage and separate easily, while pails with lids are stackable.

Material:

High-Density Polyethylene PlasticHigh density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE works well in below freezing temperatures. HDPE heat compatibility varies. Maximum fill temperature is generally around 171°F; however, testing is recommended with your specific product and application.

Can this round plastic pail be used for food products?
If the pail is FDA approved (listed under the Additional Information section of this product page), then it is safe to store and transport food and food ingredients.
