This 45mm plain lined black industry standard plastic cap includes a universal heat induction sealed (HIS) liner. The closure is made of polypropylene and fits our 45-400 bottles and jars. Industry standard caps feature a textured top and ribbed sides. Induction liners are often used for a tamper evident air tight seal, and they are compatible with liquid products.

Material:

Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures.
