The 57WTFE is a Rieke® 70mm natural polyethylene (PE) plastic screw cap with 3/4" (20mm) threaded (NPS - 8TPI) opening (reducer) and a Micro-Porous Gauze Vent that allows two-way venting for either pressure or vacuum relief. This plastic pail closures offers a tight seal as well as easy access to a container for filling and dispensing through a 3/4" opening for use with a faucet.

The 57WTFE is a Rieke® 70mm natural polyethylene (PE) plastic screw cap with 3/4" (20mm) threaded (NPS - 8TPI) opening (reducer) and a Micro-Porous Gauze Vent that allows two-way venting for either pressure or vacuum relief. This plastic pail closures offers a tight seal as well as easy access to a container for filling and dispensing through a 3/4" opening for use with a faucet.

When using these vents:
  • Be sure to allow for adequate head space (outage) in the container. Failure to do so can plug the vent or cause leakage
  • The container should be transported and stored in an upright position

Material:

Polyethylene (PE) is the most commonly produced and used plastic polymer in the world. PE has good chemical resistance and is typically translucent and waxy in nature. We have various products made of polyethylene, from buttress screw caps with Flexspout to spill decks. PE bottles have a maximum hot fill temperature of 120°F.
