This durable, corrosion resistant design is constructed from special polymer compounds. The housing is molded of reinforced chemically coupled polypropylene homopolymer. The addition of a UV stabilizer makes it suitable for outdoor use.
An easy to remove cover and basket make bag change-out quick, clean and simple. No special tools are needed, and the filter is back in service in a matter of minutes. The cover threads are external, and have no contact with the process fluids to prevent product accumulation. For extra strength the cover features buttress-style threads. The housing is complete with a cover vent, drain and gage port connections. It's versatile unistyle design, side or bottom outlet, makes piping easy in any arrangement.

Material:

Polypropylene PlasticPolypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures. Do you have any of these in stock in North America?
This filter vessel comes from one of our vendors--we do not stock it in our own warehouses. The vendor is based in the United States, though. Our sales team can offer more information on availability, shipping times, etc.

How do your Single Bag Filter Vessels work?
With our Single Bag Vessel Filters, liquid that is yet to be filtered enters the vessel from the top inlet and travels through the filter/strainer basket. With solids, they are contained inside the filter bag/strainer basket, then flow through the Bottom or Side outlet with clean liquid.
