NYTAL® Industrial Talc

Nytal 200 has a low binder demand, with 1% to 2% retained on a No. 325 sieve. As a relatively coarse type of inert filler, it is a useful extender in coatings where paint fineness and film smoothness are not prime importance, but where some degree of film roughness or "tooth" is beneficial, as in primers.

Technical Data Sheets: Nytal 200
MSDS: Nytal 200

Nytal 3300 is a low absorption filler of medium coarseness. Used in interior wall paints, exterior house paints, primers, maintenance paints and traffic paints.

VANSIL® Wollastonite

Vansil W-10 is a coarse grade with 2.7% retained on a 200 mesh sieve. It is useful as an extender in high-build coatings such as block fillers and texture paints where pigment fineness is not a prerequisite.

Technical Data Sheets: Vansil W10
MSDS: Vansil W10

Vansil W-20 is a relatively coarse grade with 1.5% retained on a 325 mesh sieve. It will disperse to a 0 to 1 Hegman fineness at three pounds per gallon, thereby providing some degree of film roughness where desired.

Technical Data Sheets: Vansil W20
MSDS: Vansil W20

Vansil W-30 disperses to a 4 Hegman fineness at three pounds per gallon. This grade provides smooth paint film and is a general purpose extender.

VANTALC® Magnesium Silicate Pigment

An excellent talc for gloss control of coatings. It has higher brightness, better color-in-oil, higher Hegman fineness of 6.5, lower median particle size and higher oil absorption than our VANTALC 6H.

Technical Data Sheets: Vantalc 6H-II
MSDS: Vantalc 6H-II

Spec Sheet : Vantalc 6H-II

Effective for gloss control, especially where film smoothness and pigment suspension are important. Filler for polypropylene, especially when good heat aging and retention of physical properties are important.

Technical Data Sheets: Vantalc 6H
MSDS: Vantalc 6H

VANTALC F2003

VANTALC F2003 is a fine particle size talc produced from floated talc ore. VANTALC F2003 has a relatively high oil absorption that can be used as a flattening filler for coatings where a high purity inert filler is required.

Technical Data Sheets: Vantalc F-2003
MSDS: Vantalc F2003

VANTALC F2504

This product is an outstanding inert filler talc for paints and coatings. It has higher brightness and better color-in-oil than our VANTALC F 2003, equal Hegman fineness of 5, but slightly coarser median particle size and lower oil absorption.

Technical Data Sheets: Vantalc F-2504
MSDS: Vantalc F2504
