UV LIGHT STABILIZERS
Cytec offers a broad line of UV light stabilizers and absorbers, including benzophenone, benzotriazole and benzoxazinone chemistries, as well as state-of-the-art triazine and hindered amine (HALS) radical scavengers. In some cases it is appropriate to utilize a combination of additives to achieve the desired protection. For example, patented developments in triazine absorber chemistry used in combination with HALS provide a level of efficiency not previously achieved in coatings with other types of absorbers. Cytec uses a systems approach to help customers achieve their stabilization goals.
