Paints and Coatings

FP-400 series, the unique and patented range of white opacity pigments from FP-Pigments, is used in various decorative and industrial paints, and in powder coating applications. Our high brightness products offer an interesting alternative for traditional white pigments without compromising paint quality. FP-400 pigments introduce excellent hiding power and opacity in paints and coatings. This enables high substitution of TiO2 in many formulations. FP-400 series provide not only good dry opacity but it also contributes to wet hiding. FP-Pigments´ products work well at wide range of different PVC -levels in interior and exterior coatings.

Paper and board

FP-100 and FP-200 series of white opacity pigments have been designed for paper and board applications and they offer extremely good optical properties. Other key benefits include good compatibility with OBAs and low abrasiveness. The high brightness and good opacity achieved with these products enable cost effective replacement of significant amounts of TiO2 or other specialty pigments with maintained or improved mechanical properties. FP-100 and FP-200 products can be used in the wet-end at neutral or alkaline papermaking conditions, and in various coating applications.

Plastics

For plastics we have developed the FP-500 series of white opacity pigments. Their key advantages are good hiding power and high brightness required by the customers in plastic industry. Our products have also good dispersibility. Plastic applications where FP-500 series have proven to introduce desired product properties include for example polyolefin films, and PVC pipes and profiles.
