PORAVER® Porous Glass Spheres
Poraver Glass
PORAVER® porous glass spheres are manufactured from 99.997% pure glass from recycled sources. The material is processed and granulated, producing grain sizes from 0.1mm to 16mm in diameter; ideal for various manufacturing requirements and industrial formulations. Waste glass is collected, before it ever reaches a landfill site. It starts by being crushed into small pieces. Next, these pieces are ground into a fine powder, mixed with water, binding and expanding agents and then shaped. The shaped granules are expanded in a rotating furnace at approximately 900°C. These fine-pored, creamy white spheres are cooled, sieved and sorted into different sizes.

PORAVER® porous glass spheres are:
- Lightweight, nontoxic, non-combustible and structurally robust.
- Highly resistant to acid, alkali, intense heat/cold and compression.
- Vermin-proof, odorless, chemically stable and completely unaffected by moisture
- Free of any airborne silica, unlike other industrial fillers, making them safer to handle
