SNOBRITE® white extender pigments are produced from selectively sourced intermediate kaolins. With a plate like crystal structure and high aspect ratio, SNOBRITE is an excellent multi-use filler and extender, providing semi-reinforcing properties, improved chemical resistance, and thixotropy for ease of application. In alkyd and water based coatings, the combination of particle shape and particle size distribution help improve film properties such as surface finish, scrub resistance and hiding power.

SNOBRITE extenders offer a reliable and economic option in industrial and emulsion primers for building products and industrial maintenance coatings. Its particle shape contributes to moisture barrier properties in primers and top-coats. In color sensitive applications such as ceiling tiles and flat wall paints, the consistent L*a*b* values of SNOBRITE extenders can uniformly achieve critical product color values. Its uniform, fine particle size yields light scattering properties and titanium dioxide spacing potential that mimics more expensive TiO2 extenders. SNOBRITE also offers consistent and functional performance in a wide range of adhesives, sealants, caulking compounds, mastics, and vinyl and rubberized systems.
