  • Allnex (formally Nuplex) Setal® 26-1668 is a slightly branched polyester polyol with 5.8% hydroxyl functionality on non-volatile. When cross-linked with aliphatic poly-isocyanates, this resin produces coatings with very good flexibility, durability, plus high chemical and solvent resistance.

  • Allnex Roskydal® 620 (66-4620) is a highly reactive, unsaturated wax-free polyester resin which cures to hard films used as a binder for highly filled primer surfacers, e.g. knifing and spray fillers for automotive refinishing because they can be applied in thick layers, thus reducing the amount of work involved. Roskydal® 620 is also used as a filler for wood and furniture finishing.

  • Allnex Roskydal® 300/1 (66-4300) is a tough but flexible unsaturated wax-free polyester resin used in the formulation of clear and pigmented UV-curing top coats with very good flow properties for application by spraying and curtain coating. Roskydal 300/1 is a wax-free unsaturated polyester resin that is used to form tough, but flexible UV cured coatings.

  • Allnex Roskydal® XP 2072 (66-4072) is an unsaturated polyester resin especially suitable for conventional- or UV-curing (transparent or pigmented) topcoats and pigmented sealers for wood and furniture. It is usually used as the sole binder. If made necessary by the application (high amount) and compatibility exists, it can be flexibilised with other Roskydal grades, such as Roskydal 550 or E 70. Roskydal XP 2072 is an unsaturated polyester resin which shows good reactivity and excellent flow properties for application by spraying or curtain in UV- or conventional-curing systems. Roskydal XP 2072 is usually used as the sole binder and forms films with a very high gloss. Roskydal XP 2072 can be flexibilized with Roskydal E 70 (66-4070).

  • Allnex Setaqua® BE270 (46-4270) is a water-reducible, oil-free, saturated polyester resin that is used in combination with water-reducible amino resins in the formation of industrial baking coatings and aqueous baking primers for OEM automotive coatings. If above-average stonechip resistance is required, Setaqua B E 270 should be combined with polyurethane dispersions. Auto OEM primer surfacer, industrial bake primers and topcoats.

  • Allnex Setal® 46-6306 is a water-soluble polyester polyol with 2.7% OH for waterborne OEM basecoat applications. It provides good pigment wetting properties, good stabilization of aluminum pigments, and improves film formation and flow. This product is suitable for use in waterborne basecoats for the automotive OEM market and in wet-on-wet systems for car refinishing. Setal 46-6306 is a water-soluble polyester resin, after neutralization, for waterborne OEM basecoat applications. Setal 46-6306 provides good pigment wetting properties, good stabilization of aluminum pigments, and improves film formation and flow.

  • Allnex Setal® 26-3705 is a low viscosity acetoacetate – modified polyester with excellent compatibility with a variety of industrial resin systems. Because of the acetoacetate functionality, this reactive diluent is crosslinkable with aminoplast resins, poly-isocyanates, polyamines, poly-ketimines and unsaturated polyesters or acrylics. Setal 26-3705 was developed for the next generation of non-isocyanate two component primer systems. When reacted with Setal 26-3701 and Setalux 10-1440, this system provides much faster dry versus a standard two-component isocyanate primer system without the negative health and safety issues associated with isocyanates.

  • Allnex Setal® 26-1619 is a polyester resin for use in high solids flexible coatings for exterior exposure. When crosslinked with aliphatic polyisocyanate crosslinkers and properly cured, this resin provides films that are very flexible and very durable. Setal 26-1619 may also be utilized as a crosslinkable plasticizing modifier. This is a HAPs free version of Setal 26-1617.

  • Allnex Roskydal® E 70 (66-4070) is a highly flexible, unsaturated polyester resin containing paraffin-wax, which is used as a flexibilizing resin for wax-free polyester, UV-curing styrene systems. The addition of Roskydal E 70 improves the polishability and sandability of films and improves the adhesion to medium density fiberboard, metal car body components and some plastics. Flexible and very durable. May be used as a reactive plasticizing modifier. Aerospace coatings.

This resin offers excellent cure qualities of hardness, toughness, chemical resistance, gloss retention, chalking resistance, and durability.   • Allnex Roskydal® 502 BA (66-4502)is a highly-reactive, styrene-free, wax-free unsaturated polyester resin which cures to yield hard films. The coatings can be conventional- or UV radiation- cured and have good resistance to scratching, solvents, other chemicals, and yellowing in both light and dark conditions. The application rate should not exceed 100 g/m2. Roskydal 502 BA satisfies the requirements of DIN 68.861, Group B. Curing by conventional methods requires the addition of a cobalt accelerator and peroxide. UV curing requires the use of a photoinitiator. Highly reactive, wax-free, styrene-free unsaturated polyester. Conventional or UV cure.

  • Allnex Roskydal® 500 A (66-4500) is a wax-free unsaturated polyester resin which cures to yield hard, scratch-resistant films for brilliant high-gloss or matt finishes with good chemical resistance. Coatings formulated with Roskydal 500A have very good flow properties. The addition of up to 30% Roskydal E 70 (66-4070) improves the flexibility and polishability of the films without reducing the scratch resistance. Fillers and putties can also be flexibilized with Roskydal E 70 (66-4070). Coatings based on Roskydal 500 A are cured with a cobalt/ hydroperoxide combination. Hard films with high gloss or matte finishes. Good chemical and scratch resistance. Good flow properties.

  • Allnex Roskydal® 850W (66-4850) is a hard, water-emulsifiable, unsaturated, wax free, polyester resin for use in the formulation of conventional and UV-curing, clear and pigmented gloss and matte aqueous coatings containing no monomers, solvents or amines. The resultant films are brilliant and resistant to scratching, water, alcohols, solvents and household cleaning agents.
