Food Esters

Polímeros Sintéticos Food Esters are formed during the etherification of the resinic acids with the polyalcohols of rosin. The resin is used in the gum base found in chewing gum and is washed via steam stripping and vacuum to improve texture and chewiness. This ester can also be used in wood finishes, rubber products, solvent based adhesives, and hot melts applications.
