A barrier system for containing eroded soil

Silt Dikes are used to manage sediment and control erosion. Silt Dikes can also be used in place of rock check dams, silt fences, and straw bales. The Cary Company offers a triangular-shaped Silt Dike and U-shaped wire staples to secure the Silt Dike in place. Silt Dikes can be easily installed and multiple units can be used to secure a large area. In addition to erosion and sediment control, Silt Dikes are efficient to use for continuous barriers, temporary ditch liners, stream and pond protection, ditch check dams, drop inlet protection and diversion dikes.
