- Our configurable size #2 high flow pleated filter cartridges feature inside to outside flow at micron ratings from 0.45 to 40 micron. These filter cartridges seal into standard bag filter housings offering higher efficiencies, flow rates and loading capacities than many standard filter bags. As the filtered particulate is stored on the inside of the element, the risk of potential contamination is minimized during change out. Common applications include: water filtration, fine chemicals, pre-filtration, food & beverage, etc.
These customizable high flow pleated filter cartridges come in either polypropylene or microglass filtration media and polypropylene or polyester support media. All materials of construction comply with FDA regulations for food and beverage contact, and all polypropylene components meet the specifications for biological safety per USP Class VI-121° C for plastics. Maximum operating conditions are a maximum differential pressure of 50 PSID and maximum temperature of 160° F | 71° C. Select your required specifications with both absolute and nominal retention available as well as multiple end cap style configurations.

Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures. The Cary Company has an assortment of polypropylene plastics available for purchase, such as plastic caps and jars, which have a higher tolerance for chemical products. Discover if Polypropylene is appropriate for hot fill application by learning more about What Is Hot Fill Packaging and how it applies to Polypropylene containers.Disclaimer:
