1 gallon (128 fl. oz.) clear flint glass jug with a 38 mm (38-405) neck finish. This jar is excellent for drinks, beverages, chemicals and more. Glass offers excellent strength, weight and compatibility for materials that cannot use plastic containers. This jug or growler is packaged with a 38mm 38-400 black/gold metal cap with plastisol liner. The plastisol liner is designed to create an air tight seal when heated. It is recommended for high temperature applications. Glass Jugs are packed 4 jugs per case in our Re-Shipper cartons to provide for easy pack, fill and ship.

405 Finish:
A glass bottle with a 405 finish is actually a 400 finish but with a depressed thread. The 405 finish was designated to avoid abrasion and chaffing on the interior of cap threads. Both 400 and 405 are shallow continuous thread finishes.
