Safety features include a self-closing lid, stainless steel flame arrester, sealed lid with an automatic-pressure relief, and a swinging handle. 100% leak-proof, it is constructed out of high-grade steel coated in a chemical resistant powder-coat finish. The green color and large label ID zone that can be written on brings awareness that a flammable liquid, such as oil, is stored inside.
