405 Finish
A glass bottle with a 405 finish is actually a 400 finish but with a depressed thread. The 405 finish was designated to avoid abrasion and chaffing on the interior of cap threads. Both 400 and 405 are shallow continuous thread finishes.

What is the temperature rating of this glass jar? In other words, how hot can this glass get before it breaks?
This glass jar is made to withstand temperatures up to approximately 300° F. However, it is not recommended to go higher than that temperature.
