This 16 oz. cone top can features a 1-1/8" beta opening. Also known as a pour top can, it has a cylindrical body and a tapered neck. Specifications

This 16 oz. cone top can features a 1-1/8" beta opening. Also known as a pour top can, it has a cylindrical body and a tapered neck. Any filling temperature above 130°F could create a vacuum in the container and cause side wall paneling. Can is made of a minimum of 25% recycled content and is 100% recyclable. This metal container has a layer of tinplate mill oil, often referred to as TMO or protective oil, applied to tinplate coils, serving several tightly controlled functions across corrosion protection, processability and surface quality. Freshly produced tinplate is highly susceptible to oxidation, especially at cut edges and micro-porosities in the tin coating. Mill oil forms a thin hydrophobic barrier that limits oxygen and moisture contact, reduces the risk of “white rust” (tin oxide formation) and preserves brightness during storage and transit.
