10.7 Gallon White Plastic Pail, Threaded Opening, Lite Latch, UN Rated

This 10.7 gallon threaded plastic pail is designed for use with Lite Latch compatible lids. Pail is crafted of FDA grade high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic, is durable and provides good chemical resistance. Screw-top lid (sold separately) closes by twisting the lid in place and is secured with Lite Latch that releases by pushing mechanism up. Smooth walls offer ample labeling space and are tapered to allow for easy nesting. When used with compatible lid, pail is UN certified for Solids Groups II and III. This container is suitable for various packaging and storage needs including dry goods, food and bulk retail applications.

Material:

High density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE plastic has moderate heat tolerance, with a melting point ranging from 120°F-180°F depending on the product and application. Testing is recommended. HDPE also generally works well in below freezing temperatures.

Life latches close by twisting the lid in place and releases with a thumb push. Lite latches close by twisting the lid in place and releases by pushing the mechanism up.

What does the Pail Series mean?
