- Specifications
- The 67W100 is an unlined 100mm white industry standard cap. This closure is made of polypropylene and fits our 100-400 bottles and jars. Industry standard caps feature a textured top and ribbed sides. The ribbed-sided design allows for ease of use when removing lid. The Cary Company offers accessories for the 67W100 such as extra liners, shrink bands and more.
Material:
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures. The Cary Company has an assortment of polypropylene plastics available for purchase, such as plastic caps and jars, which have a higher tolerance for chemical products.
