120mm Black Plastic Pressure Sensitive Lined Canister Closure
Pressure sensitive liner
This black canister closure with a pressure sensitive liner is made of polypropylene (PP) plastic and fits our 120mm canisters. Pressure sensitive liners provide an extra level of protection in that they actually create a seal. The liners are best for dry products and can at times, work with thick liquids such as creams and sauces. Not recommended for liquids or oils. This closure has triple lead threading.

Uni-Foam™ PS-113 Pressure Sensitive Liner Composition
The Uni-Foam™ PS-113 Pressure Sensitive Liner is a one-piece uniform polystyrene foam layer coated on one side with a specially formulated torque-activated adhesive. (Not approved for use with wet products.)Material Standard Metric Polystyrene Foam .020" .508mm Adhesive Layer .002" .051mm 
Material:
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures. The Cary Company has an assortment of polypropylene plastics available for purchase, such as plastic caps and jars, which have a higher tolerance for chemical products.
