Specifications
This white smooth plastic cap contains a pressure sensitive liner. This closure is made of polypropylene and fits our 120-400 bottles and jars. It has a glossy, smooth top as well as side to give a sleek appearance. Pressure sensitive liners create an actual seal which provides an extra level of protection. They are best for dry products and can at times, work with thick liquids such as creams and sauces. Generally, these liners are not recommended for liquids and oils. The Cary Company offers accessories for the this product such as extra liners, shrink bands and more.

The Uni-Foam™ PS-113 Pressure Sensitive Liner is a one-piece uniform polystyrene foam layer coated on one side with a specially formulated torque-activated adhesive. (Not approved for use with wet products.)

Uni-Foam™ PS-113 Pressure Sensitive Liner

Material:

Polypropylene PlasticPolypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures. The Cary Company has an assortment of polypropylene plastics available for purchase, such as plastic caps and jars, which have a higher tolerance for chemical products.
