This 135 gallon IBC tote features a standard 2" NPT valve, which is used for threaded connections. Also known as an intermediate bulk container, this industrial container has three components: a new bottle, new cage and new composite pallet. This bottle is made of blow molded high density polyethylene (HDPE). This IBC tote features a 6" top screw cap with a 2" solid NPT bung in the middle, EPDM gaskets, and 4 HDPE corner protectors. This tote has a UN rating of UN31HA1/Y1.9/100 and is FDA compliant for food use.

High density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE plastic has moderate heat tolerance, with a melting point ranging from 120°F-180°F depending on the product and application. Testing is recommended.
