- This extra heavy-duty drum heater band for 15 gallon plastic drums features an adjustable thermostat up to 160° F, (71° C). This unit is designed to provide practical, efficient means of freeze protection, viscosity control, and maintenance of materials at elevated temperatures. The heating element is laminated between three extra thick layers of fiberglass reinforced silicone rubber (two layers at 20 mil and one layer at 27 mil thickness) for the ultimate in strength and durability. Durable reinforced silicone rubber provides excellent strength and flexibility for long service life.
