Would this be suitable for storing Ti6Al4V powder in? Is there any risk of contamination from the metal on metal contact?
Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we can’t give any chemical compatibility advice. The drum is manufactured with type 304 stainless steel. The side seam is resistance welded and the bottom chime contains a seaming compound to make the drum leakproof. The gasket is neoprene and is attached with adhesive. It is up to the customer to make that decision. Thank you for choosing The Cary Company!
