16 oz. French Square Glass Jar w/ Gold Metal Cap with Plastisol Liner, 48mm 48-400
Elegant Glass & Secure Closures
This 16 oz. 48mm clear French square glass jar has a distinctive rectangular profile. It is paired with a 48mm (48-400) gold electrolytic tinplate (tin coated steel) cap with a plastisol liner. Plastisol liners are commonly used for applications such as food canning and vacuum packaging because they provide a hermetic, or artight, seal. Similarly, the jar is excellent for food and useful for products that need a wide opening for dispensing. Glass offers excellent strength, weight and compatibility for materials that cannot use plastic containers. Both the cap and glass jar are recommended for high temperature applications.
Platisol Liners can handle up to 190° F. Sampling is recommended for withstanding temperatures above 190° F. *It is recommended to clean before use.
