This is a 2.5 gallon 63mm 63-445 natural high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic F-Style plastic bottle that features an EVOH barrier. EVOH is used to give additional oxygen and gas barrier properties to a product, providing similar benefits to fluorination without its associated environmental and economic drawback. This F-Style bottle has a handle near the bottle's opening for easy carrying and dispensing. Its rectangular shape allows for convenient storage and shipping. F-style bottles are commonly used to package industrial solutions such as cleaning, gardening, and automotive chemicals, but can also be used to store bulk liquids for the food industry.

EVOH

Ethylene-Vinyl Alcohol (EVOH) is a flexible copolymer made of ethylene and vinyl alcohol. It is commonly used in multilayer packaging structures. EVOH offers excellent barrier properties against gases, aromas, fuels, and chemicals. The versatility of EVOH makes it ideal for pharmaceutical packaging, as well as chemical, automotive, and agricultural uses, among many others due to its barrier properties.



Material:

High-Density Polyethylene PlasticHigh density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE works well in below freezing temperatures. HDPE heat compatibility varies. Maximum fill temperature is generally around 171°F; however, testing is recommended with your specific product and application. Distortion occurs between 220° to 250° F.

Yes, this container is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE), which offers good impact resistance as well as chemical and temperature resistance. HDPE also offers high tensile strength and can be recycled.
