37BL32 is a red 2.5 gallon polyethylene Type I safety can to contain flammable and corrosive liquids. Made of durable HDPE (high density polyethylene), rugged gas can is fitted with a self-closing, stainless steel cap to prevent spilling. Pressure-relief mechanism and flame arrester work with cap to halt entry of ignition sources without impeding liquid flow into or out of the can. Polyethylene construction resists chips, dents and punctures. Stainless steel closing mechanism offers chemical resistance. Conductive carbon insert (embedded into the container rib), when used with a grounding strip, offers proper grounding to prevent creating a static arc during filling or pouring.
