This is a 2" Camlock cylinder valve that is designed for Mauser IBC (intermediate bulk containers) Totes. It includes a EPDM Gasket and is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE). The valve is FDA Compliant for food purposes. The attached gasket on the valve makes both dispensing and disconnecting easy. This 2" Camlock cylinder valve includes a cap for a secure fit.

Material:
High density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE plastic has moderate heat tolerance, with a melting point ranging from 120°F-180°F depending on the product and application. Testing is recommended. HDPE also generally works well in below freezing temperatures.Disclaimer:
