2 oz. White PP Plastic Jar, Double Wall, Straight Sided, 58mm 58-400
This 2 fl. oz. white polypropylene (PP) plastic double wall jar features straight sides and a 58-400 neck finish. This jar features a square bottom with a 90 degree edge where the bottom of the jar meets the side wall. The square bottom provides a straight profile in comparison to rounded bottom jars. Double wall jars are a lightweight alternative to thick wall jars. Their "jar within a jar" construction allows for smaller product quantities to be packaged in larger jars. This 2 oz. plastic jar is ideal for travel-sized quantities of cosmetic, skincare and pharmaceutical products. Caps sit flush to the outside of the jar for an upscale appearance.

Material:
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures.
