Q & A
Customer Questions
What are the differences between steel lug covers and dish covers?
Lug covers feature “tabs” that are meant to be crimped to their compatible pails with a lug closing tool, which is sold separately. Dish covers are attached to the pails using lever lock rings, which are sold separately.
Some of your steel pail lids have a spout. What are the benefits of these spouts?
If your steel pail contains liquids, these spouts offer many benefits. These spouts allow controlled flow of the pail contents as they’re emptied. Many of these spouts can be fitted with pumps that enable dosed dispensing of the pail contents.
Do you offer pail closing tools and other accessories for these steel pail lids?
Yes, we offer both manual and semi-automatic lug closing tools in brass (spark resistant), steel or aluminum (lightweight). Economy versions are also available for low volume operations. These tools provide an even pressure for attaching steel lids to pails. We also offer pail pumps, pail liners, pails strainers and pail heaters.
