Vented 0.040" F-217-3 WC Grooved™ Foam Liner w/Oleophobic ePTFE, 0.2-Micron Membrane

Provide pressure relief and prevent bloating, paneling and leaking with our 24mm (24-400) white vented plastic cap with grooved 3-ply foam liner. This cap features ribbed sides and a matte top for ease of use. The 3-ply grooved foam liner remains in the cap even after the consumer opens the container to continue venting the product throughout the container's usage. The grooved foam also allows air to escape the closure whereas flat liners would normally be compressed. This vented closure features a B-style vent which combines great value, performance and sufficient venting applications. It is best suited for less aggressive formulas such as bleach, dry goods and powders.

Material:

Polypropylene PlasticPolypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures.
