This is a 2,500 gallon blue vertical heavy duty plastic water storage tank. Vertical tanks are used in a variety of industries including industrial, agricultural, and commercial storage applications. Common liquids stored in these tanks are water, calcium chloride, DEF, ethyl alcohol, ferric chloride, ferric sulfate, hydrochloric acid, biodiesel, fertilizer, phosphoric acid, polymers, sodium hydroxide, sodium hypochlorite, sulfuric acid, urea, brine, agricultural chemicals, industrial chemicals, and more. Please contact our sales team to verify chemical compatibility before placing your order. This plastic vertical storage tank is constructed with rotationally molded polyethylene resin. Its seamless construction makes it durable and resistant to cracks, chips, and ruptures. The poly tank is made with FDA Compliant resin that complies with FDA standards 21 CFR 177.1520 (1) 3.1 and 3.2 for use in food grade storage. It's made with UV inhibitors that help protect liquid contents from direct sunlight for both indoor and outdoor use. The 2,500 gallon heavy duty vertical storage tank has a specific gravity rating of 1.9, making it safe for a variety of liquid storage solutions. It features a 16 threaded vented manway and a 2 PP female NPT bulkhead fitting with a 2 siphon outlet. All tanks must be cleaned before use. Although the resin is food-grade, the tanks are not food-ready and may have manufacturing residues.
Vertical storage tanks are for industrial use and may have cosmetic blemishes that do not affect their integrity.

Material:
High density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE plastic has moderate heat tolerance, with a melting point ranging from 120°F-180°F depending on the product and application. Testing is recommended.
