This 275 gallon gray high-density polyethylene (HDPE) IBC Tote includes a 2" side Camlock QD discharge valve and viton gasket. It has a 6" fill cap with a 2" plug and is UN-rated UN31HA1/Y for liquids. This gray tote provides UV protection for products that are sensitive to UV degradation. Also known as an intermediate bulk container, IBC tank, or IBC tote, this industrial container holds the same capacity as five 55-gallon drums in less space. This tote has three components: a new HDPE plastic bottle, a reconditioned galvanized steel cage, and various pallet styles (not wood). New bottles are made of FDA-compliant virgin resin, which is suitable for food use.

Material:

High-Density Polyethylene PlasticHigh density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE plastic has moderate heat tolerance, with a melting point ranging from 120°F-180°F depending on the product and application. Testing is recommended. HDPE also generally works well in below freezing temperatures.
