This 275 gallon Schuetz IBC features a 2" Camlock valve. Also known as an intermediate bulk container, IBC tank or IBC tote, this industrial container offers the same capacity as five 55-gallon drums in less space and features a 2" quick disconnect valve. The Camlock valve allows for easy disconnect, adding to ease of use. Camlock is usually used for quick connects (like hoses), while NPT is for threaded connections. This tote assembly features three components: a new bottle, a new cage, and a new composite pallet. New bottles are made of FDA Compliant virgin resin, appropriate for food use. This tote features a 6" red fill cap with a 2" Camlock bung in the middle and TPE gaskets. This IBC has a UN31HA1/Y UN rating.

Material:

High-Density Polyethylene PlasticHigh density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE works well in below freezing temperatures. HDPE heat compatibility varies. Maximum fill temperature is generally around 145°F; however, testing is recommended with your specific product and application.
