- This 28mm (28-400) white vented plastic cap with ribbed sides and a smooth top includes a one-piece, foam-backed heat induction foil liner for PET and PVC containers. The heat induction liner offers an aggressive bond and clean peal removal. Vented caps are an economic solution to help prevent paneling, bloating and leaking. This vented closure features a B-Style vent which combines great value, performance and sufficient venting capabilities for a range of applications. It is best suited for less aggressive formulas.

Material:
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures.
