- Provide pressure relief and prevent bloating, paneling and leaking with our 28mm (28-400) white child resistant vented plastic cap with grooved 3-ply foam liner. This child resistant cap features ribbed sides and embossed pictorial instructions for ease of use. The 3-ply grooved foam liner remains in the cap even after the consumer opens the container to continue venting the product throughout the containers usage. The grooved foam also allows air to escape the closure whereas flat liners would normally be compressed. This vented closure features a B-style vent which combines great value, performance and sufficient venting applications. It is best suited for less aggressive formulas such as bleach, dry goods and powders.

Material:
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures. The Cary Company has an assortment of polypropylene plastics available for purchase, such as plastic caps and jars, which have a higher tolerance for chemical products.
