Specifications
This three-fitting 55 gallon blue steel drum has a blue cover with two 2" & one 3/4" T-style fittings, all with EPDM gaskets. The cover is attached with a bolt ring closure and kept secure by a 7/16" EDPM tubular gasket. Three fittings can provide multiple benefits such as better ventilation for the product inside, the ability to use various attachments for dispensing, and improved efficiency in filling and dispensing. The three hoops along the drum's body increase rigidity and improve gripping. UN specifications include a rating of UN1A2/Y1.6/150 for liquids and UN1A2/X400/S for solids.

Material:

Carbon steel (CS) is metal alloy that is made of iron and carbon. It is known as a cost-effective alloying material. There are four types of carbon steel that vary in strength level: low carbon steel, medium carbon steel, high carbon steel, and very high carbon steel. Engine parts, car body panels, and select knives are made of carbon steel. The Cary Company also has carbon steel IBC tanks, filter vessels, and drums that work well with many liquids.
