- Specifications
- This is an open drip proof (ODP) motor drum pump with a 2" Dia. x 27" L polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) tube with a max. flow of 40.0 gpm and a max. viscosity of 500 cps. This drum or barrel pump is ideal for light to medium viscosity liquids and high flow applications. Sealless and high performance, the barrel pump has dry run capability and a double suction impeller. The polyvinylidene difluoride (PVDF) construction can handle temperatures up to 120° F and offers durability and good chemical resistance. The drum pump works with liquids with a maximum specific gravity of 1.83.
Open-Drip-Proof motors do not have a fan allowing these electric motors to be an economic alternative to totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) motors. Drum Pumps are ergonomic as they can eliminate the need to lift containers during liquid transfer. The plastic tube is 27" for use with less than 30 gallon drums and other containers. The discharge connection is a variable orifice barb. Versatile for multiple applications across industries, the drum or barrel pump offers easy disassembly for cleaning.Key benefits:
