- Specifications
- This is an explosion proof (X-Proof) motor drum pump with a 1.5" Dia. x 27" L 316 stainless steel tube and a max flow of 7.0 gpm and max viscosity of 400 cps. This 30 gallon drum or carboy pump is suitable for semi-viscous liquids up to 200° F and can handle many corrosives, flammables, etc. in pure applications. The max specific gravity of this sealed drum pump is 1.80. With a smaller diameter, this drum pump tube can fit smaller bung openings.
The explosion proof motor performance is reduced to 7.0 gpm in order to reduce static electricity during use for additional safety when mixing potentially volatile liquids. Drum pumps are ergonomic as they can eliminate the need to lift containers during liquid transfer. The stainless steel tube is 27" for use with 30 gallon drums, carboys and other similar-sized containers. Stainless steel is ideal for flammables such as fuels and solvents compared to plastic alternatives. The discharge connection is a 1" hose barb. This drum pump is sealed making it ideal for pure applications.
