The 56W31B is a 30 gallon HDPE open head drum and is rated UN1H2/Y180/S. A lid and lever lock ring are included. This drum barrel can be used as a rain barrel or storage container for chemicals, oils, and more. The included fittings make filling and dispensing easy and convenient. with all the proper components as a UN Rated product, the 56W31B provides optimal performance and protection for your products.

Material:

High-Density Polyethylene PlasticHigh density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE works well in below freezing temperatures. HDPE heat compatibility varies. Maximum fill temperature is generally around 145°F; however, testing is recommended with your specific product and application.

Yes, this plastic drum is food grade.
Do the fittings come installed on the 30 gallon drum or do I have to install them?
