Can this bottle hold carbonation for seltzer/beer?
These glass Boston rounds are not pressure rated. Fortunately, you can request a sample and test the compatibility of this bottle with your product.
Do these Boston round glass bottles (and all sizes) need to be cleaned and sanitized before use? We want to fill them with milk drinks for consumption within a few days. What’s the best way commercially to clean them?
Thank you for your inquiry. We would not recommend this bottle and cap for consumable liquids. However, 32 oz. Square Quart Glass Milk Bottle, 48mm 48-Snap, Part #30WDS4 would be a more suitable alternative for milk drinks. Any of the 48mm Snap On caps listed on that product page would work as a compatible closure, such as 48mm White Plastic Tamper Evident Snap On Cap, Part #30W49W or 48mm Purple Plastic Tamper Evident Snap On Cap, Part #30W49P.
