26BS35 is a UN rated 350 gallon 304 stainless steel IBC tank. This stainless steel liquid handling tank features a top opening with a drum cover compatible with a full‑wrap style gasket, a one-piece 1/2 sloped bottom that allows for 99.5% drainage, a fusible cap, 10 gauge stainless steel IBC construction with 2B finish and a 2" top bung opening. This 304 stainless steel IBC container is rated UN31A/Y for the transportation and storage of hazardous chemicals and meets Intermediate Bulk Container requirements per Title CF49 of the Hazardous Material Guide as well as NFPA "Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code" NFPA 30 section 9.4.1 (1). This stainless steel IBC tank is not food grade. It can be used for alcohol, wine, and spirits, but not beer.

26BS35 is a UN rated 350 gallon stainless steel IBC tank. This stainless steel liquid handling tank features a one-piece 1/2 sloped bottom that allows for 99.5% drainage, a fusible cap, 10 gauge stainless steel IBC construction with 2B finish, a top opening with a drum cover compatible with a full‑wrap style gasket, a 2" top bung opening and a 2" stainless steel ball valve with offset handle. Lifting lugs include both round and teardrop‑shaped holes to support a wider range of lifting equipment. The tank bottom incorporates a stamped drainage slope with a welded elbow to reduce potential leak points. Heavy-duty lifting lugs with a large radius corner also feature as stacking positioners. This IBC container can stack up to four high. The 304 stainless steel construction is durable and corrosion resistant for an extended service life with little need for maintenance.

Material:

Stainless steel 304 (SS304) has excellent corrosion resistance and weldability. SS304 has an oxidation resistance of 1600°F for intermittent service and 1690°F for continuous service. I would not recommend purchasing the 26BS35 tank. There is an identical tank, model 26BS5F, available for approximately $300 less.This tank 26BS35 previously featured a threaded elbow at the drain, but the design has been changed to a welded elbow. We initially thought we had been sent the wrong model. We were then informed that the manufacturer had updated and redesigned the tank for efficiency. We wish this information had been communicated before purchase. Since both the 26BS35 and 26BS5F now appear to have the same welded drain design, the roughly $300 price difference is unjustifiable.  We were told the difference is due to the tanks being made by different manufacturers, but when the products are the exact same, it makes no sense to carry both. We have always valued the quality of this tank, and still do, but we strongly recommend updating the online product information so it accurately reflects what customers will actually receive. If a manufacturer changes a product’s specifications or design, that information should be clearly communicated before purchase.
