The 68WDBF is a 38mm tamper evident cap that features a heat induction liner compatible with PET and PVC containers. Heat induction liners are a popular choice when a tamper evident air tight seal is needed. This white, high density polypropylene (HDPE) cap is intended to accommodate PET and PVC containers with a 358DBJ neck finish. The ribbed-sided design allows for ease of use when removing lid.

DBF Neck Finish
The DBF neck finish has a "J" style slit bridge tamper evident closure with a heat induction (HIS) liner that is recommended for use with PET and PVC three lead neck finish bottles that use a proprietary neck finish. It can be used with torque application equipment. The cap is NOT applicable with carbonated products, hot-fill applications, nitrogen gas injected applications, or for freezing. Material:
High density polyethylene (HDPE ) is the most commonly used resin. This economical plastic has good impact and chemical resistance, is naturally translucent and flexible. It is typically used for personal care products such as shampoo bottles. Adding color will give HDPE an opaque look that will result in an increase in weight and rigidness. We have a variety of these rigid and tough high density polyethylene products in stock, from containers, pails, bottles, caps, tubs and jugs. HDPE plastic has moderate heat tolerance, with a melting point ranging from 120°F-180°F depending on the product and application. Testing is recommended.
