This 38mm (38-400) white polypropylene (PP) plastic child resistant cap features embossed pictorial directions on the top surface of the closure, ideal for storing potentially harmful substances. This child resistant closure comes with a universal heat induction seal liner. The single piece liner has tamper evident properties. Please note the FS5-4 heat induction seal liner is recommended for use with dry products only and is not suited for liquid applications.

Material:
Polypropylene (PP) is a tough plastic that has excellent chemical resistance. PP is translucent in its natural state but can have a glossy finish when produced with color. Some examples of common products made with PP are dairy and medication containers. Polypropylene is suitable for hot fill applications of up to 205°F and is therefore great for autoclaving. Distortion occurs between 240° to 270° F. It is not recommended for cold or sub-freezing temperatures. The Cary Company has an assortment of polypropylene plastics available for purchase, such as plastic caps and jars, which have a higher tolerance for chemical products.
